Hambasha (ሐምባሻ)

Hambasha is a traditional Ethiopian and Eritrean bread, enjoyed across generations and often shared during family gatherings and special occasions. Made with wheat flour, sugar, yeast, and black seed (Nigella seed), it has a soft, satisfying texture and a gently aromatic flavour. Enjoy it on its own, with coffee, tea, or as part of a traditional breakfast.
